it's too complicated , what needs to be done is you have to keep it to where it is still as functional but it doesn't take the enitire ship apart or destroy your progress and you are left trying to fix some simple issue all day long. If you are looking for a different experience in the same genre, Endless Space 2 will be more what you like.So this may seem weird you getting gold for this comment but nearly 3 years ago you made an amazing post in.Having recently played both, I prefer Endless Space 2. Ashes of the Singularity Massive-scale warfare in an epic RTS. it's almost like it's the same tool the desiger uses to make the default ship designs but we don't need all that we need an adaptation of it with similar functionality but with less of the detailed trappings it's a tall order I realize that but that is what you need to do with it. Another case in point, Sim City whatever vs Cities Skylines (I don't even know what the latest version of Sim City is as I was so disappointed by the lack of features and reviews, I never bought it, and now that Skylines is out, I never will).GalCiv III needs to start from a firm foundation and not try to reinvent but improve with sly , impressive precision. or some such dude , I forgot his name.
