Each site has a fire pit and picnic table.Beautiful park located about an hour outside of Montréal. We started with the Sommet then merged to the Calvaire. There were 2 benches in the shade and 3 or 4 benches in the sun. The way the sun shines on the trees and colours them is amazing.

For snowshoeing, there are 3 main trails: L'Écureuil (easiest), Le Marais (intermediate), and La Montée (advanced). We will walk to the Summit next time :).This is a great example of Quebec's religious past set among a very beautiful natural area. Le Diable and Le Géant golf courses are less than 0.6 mi away.
We had already done a longer day trip to Tremlant, so we were looking for an option closer to Montreal for the 2nd morning.Oka park is a great camping experience without having to go too far out of the city. I tried Le Marais and La Montée, both of which give you lovely views of the forests. The more difficult trails take much longer to complete, have some small hills, winding trails, and narrow parts. it was worth it. There are 3 main trails in the park.
Mont Tremblant National Park is just 10 minutes' drive from this hotel and Mont Tremblant Casino is 1.2 mi away.
It was about 3 degrees outside and the snow on the paths was perfect. I've rode my bike here from MTL last year and this year opted for the train into Deux Montagnes and the awesome ride from that point!

I went here recently when there was a lot of snow, so it was ideal for participating in some winter sports. Oka has a lot to offer.We went for a hike around the "Le Sommet and Le Calvaire trail" It was approximately 7km around both loops. People at any age is really enjoying the Calvaire.We had an easy walk (through the forest) to the Oka Calvaire before going to a sugar shack (you need to get hungry in such circumstances!) Every weekend from September 12 to October 25, the Sommet Saint-Sauveur en couleur is in full swing. We went for a hike around the "Le Sommet and Le Calvaire trail" It was approximately 7km around both loops.
The calvaire has a Look out over the park and lake with 3 little chapels.
